To support aspiring talent, the PTDA Foundation proudly offers a student scholarship program designed to ease the financial burden of education in PT/MC-related fields. This $3,000 scholarship is open to those who are considering or are currently pursuing an education in power transmission or motion control related fields in North America. What are power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) products? Power transmission/motion control products drive machinery and are therefore found in virtually every industrial application. These products make machines move and accomplish the work for which they were designed. PT/MC products are found inside machines, factories, equipment―anywhere work is being done, you're likely to find PT/MC product. Products include adjustable/variable speed drives, bearings, belt drives, chain drives, clutches and brakes, conveyors and material handling components, gearing, hydraulics and pneumatics, industrial specialty chemicals, motors, pumps, shaft couplings, and U-joints. Interested in applying? The scholarship amount is $3,000 and is limited to one scholarship per recipient. Scholarship recipients will be selected and notified in August. Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the educational institution by September 30 to be applied to an open tuition balance.
