Decisions around student loans can be confusing, especially with the changes to the federal student loan system that went live on July 1, 2026. That's why we created the Fund Your Future Scholarship: to help students and parents make informed, thoughtful decisions about how they pay for college. To apply, complete the steps below: Confirm your college for the 2026-2027 academic year: Check to make sure the college we have on file for your Scholarships360 account is correct. If it's not correct, update it to improve your account experience! Tell us about your college payment plan: Check off which funds you plan to use to cover your or your child's higher education costs. We always recommend a "laddered" approach: using free money (scholarships/grants) first, followed by income/savings, and lastly utilizing student loans. Calculate your college funding gap: A college funding gap is the difference between a school's total cost of attendance and the combined amount of financial aid (grants, scholarships), federal loans, and the Expected Family Contribution. Answer a short essay: In 250 words or less, tell us how you've gotten creative with your plan to pay for college! A winner will be selected based on financial need and the quality of their essay. Finalists may also be interviewed about their process of paying for college. Your answers about borrowing and your use of any loan-comparison tools will not affect scholarship selection.Show Less
