The Louis T. Klauder Scholarship seeks to support the aspirations of those pursuing a career in the rail transit industry as an electrical or mechanical engineer. The scholarship is open to those seeking advanced degrees who are enrolled in a fully accredited institution. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in entering the public transportation industry and be sponsored by a member organization of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). Two letters of recommendation are required for new scholars, while renewing scholars need only provide one. Apply now to take the first step toward a promising future in the rail transit industry.
The American Public Transportation Foundation, since its inception in 1988, has awarded over $1,500,000 in scholarships to more than 350 deserving students.
