The Dr. George M. Smerk Scholarship recognizes individuals committed to a future in public transit management. Open to those pursuing advanced degrees, applicants must display a passion for the industry and be enrolled in an accredited institution. All applicants must be sponsored by any member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). Two letters of recommendation are required for new scholars, while renewing scholars need only provide one. Apply now to receive support for your career in public transit management.
