The NSHSS Foundation Business & Public Policy Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors or rising college freshmen majoring in business, finance, economics, or public policy-related fields. Each year, it awards $1,000 to one (1) such student due to a belief in the importance of the role of economic and political factors in public decision-making and policy formulation, microeconomic analysis of policy issues, resource allocation and decision modeling, cost/benefit analysis, statistical methods, and applications to specific public policy topics. The "Fulbright-Hanken Distinguished Chair in Business and Economics" grants the selected Chair the ability to conduct research in their area of specialization and contribute to the Hanken School of Economic's knowledge dissemination to academia and the corporate world. This “Fulbright-National Science Foundation Distinguished Scholar Award” is open to Ph.D. and Terminal Degree holders interested in both conducting research and teaching courses in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure at select Icelandic universities.
