For over a decade, business has consistently ranked the most popular major among college students in the US. This isn’t surprising, as there are many different career paths that a business major can take, including entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, management, and operations. Business scholarships are one of the best ways to minimize your financial burden as you earn your degree.

Whether you are pursuing an undergrad business degree or pursuing a graduate degree like an MBA, our list of business scholarships is full of vetted opportunities just for you. Let’s get into it!

Jump ahead to…

How to win business scholarships

Now you’ve got a great list of business scholarships at your fingertips that you can begin applying to. But before you begin your essays, it can be useful to take a moment for some reflection. Try sitting down and brainstorming the answers to a few questions to give you some perspective as to the approach you’ll take in your applications. Here are some ideas for questions to ask yourself:

  • How do I hope to change the world with my career in business?
  • What experiences inspired me to pursue business?
  • What have I accomplished so far that demonstrates my future potential in the field?
  • Where do I see myself ten years from now?
  • Who inspired me to pursue business and what about their story resonated with me?

As you write the answers to these questions, don’t worry about word limits, succinctness, or even grammar or punctuation! You can write in bullet points, paragraphs, or whatever works best for you. Once you’ve got them all down on the page, you can use this as a resource when you begin your essays. That way, once you have the prompt in front of you, you can focus on how to make your essay powerfully-worded, and you already have the content laid out.

Writing effective scholarship essays

Writing a good scholarship essay is key to finding success in your application. We’ve got a host of resources to help you succeed in this endeavor.
