Are you an NSPS (National Society of Professional Surveyors) Student Member taking courses in Business Administration or Management? If so, the Tri-State Surveying and Photogrammetry Kris M. Kunze Memorial Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Every odd year (e.g. 2025, 2027, etc.), the scholarship awards $2,000 to an NSPS Student Member who is taking college-level courses in Business Administration or Management. Primary preference is given to PLS’s or Certified Photogrammetrists, secondary preference is given to certified land surveying interns, and tertiary preference is given to full-time students in a Surveying and Mapping program. To apply, submit an application form, official transcripts, three letters of recommendation, a personal introductory letter, a copy of your ID, and a course syllabus or program course catalog. The American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) is a professional membership society for the spatial data information industry. The American Congress on Surveying and Mapping's members include three primary organizations (NSPS, AAGS and GLIS), whose professionals include surveying and mapping professionals such as surveyors, cartographers, geodesists, and other spatial data information related professionals.

Applicants must be NSPS (National Society of Professional Surveyors) Student Members (requires a $10 fee).
In addition to the below application materials, interested students must submit a copy of their driver’s license or other State-Issued ID (copies of both front and back) and a copy of their course syllabus or program course catalog showing specific courses or subjects required for the scholarship.
