Association of International Certified Professional Accountants
Membership in the AICPA provides access to a wide range of professional networking opportunities with accountants in the industry. They also post guides, articles, and checklists which can be useful for accounting students.
American Accounting Association
For students who are interested in joining an organization which specializes in accounting in the United States, this can be a great fit. They conduct industry research and post their findings, as well as opportunities for meeting professionals in your areas of interest.

Do I have to major in accounting to earn an accounting scholarship?
Most of these scholarships require that applicants plan to major in accounting. That being said, if you earn a scholarship but later decide to change your major, you won’t have to pay back the money in most cases. If you won a renewing award, you may be unable to renew it if your major changes.
So, although most of these scholarships require that applicants plan on majoring in accounting, they also know that plans can change and you will probably be able to keep the award if you end up changing your major.
