The Stokes Scholarship Programs are funded by the Central Intelligence Agency, a U.S. government agency that provides objective intelligence on foreign countries and global issues to the president, the National Security Council, and other policymakers to help them make national security decisions. Every year, their Stokes Scholarship Program awards up to $25,000 to multiple postsecondary students who (1) can commit to working at the CIA for a period of 1.5 years for each year they receive the scholarship and (2) are willing to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) for a minimum of 12 weeks each summer in the WMA until graduation and onboard as an officer. Chosen Stokes scholars should also maintain a competitive GPA (>3.0) for the entirety of the time they receive the scholarship.
