The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

* There are certain exceptions to this, for example if the sponsoring organization is a major corporation or nonprofit with its own scholarship application system.

Scholarship Overview

Are you a woman pursuing a degree in business or a related field? If so, consider applying for the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship! The scholarship is open to women pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business or a related field of study. Applicants must also live or study in a Zonta region.

Zonta International, a global organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women in business, offers the scholarship to honor Jane M. Klausman. She was a member of the Zonata Club of New York and was a professional secretary, parliamentarian, and entrepreneur. To carry on her legacy, Zonta International awards 37 international scholarships worth $5,000 to lucky recipients every year. If you are a woman passionate about business and would like some help funding your education, we encourage you to apply! 

Eligibility information

The scholarship is open to women in the second year of an undergraduate business program through the final year of a master's business program at an accredited institute. Applicants may alternatively be studying accounting, economics, finance, business management, business technology, information technology, marketing, operations management, human resources management, international business, or entrepreneurship. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements. Bear in mind that members or family members of Zonta International and Zonta Foundation for Women are not eligible for the scholarship.
