Wisconsin Grant
The Wisconsin Grant is a need based grant for Wisconsin resistance for students attending eligible postsecondary institutions in Wisconsin. All institutions in the University of Wisconsin system are included in this grant, as well as Wisconsin technical colleges and tribal colleges. The Wisconsin Grant is also available for students attending non-profit, independent colleges and universities located in Wisconsin.Â
Talent Incentive Program Grant
The Talent Incentive Program Grant provides financial assistance to first-time college students who demonstrate financial need. Students must be residents of Wisconsin and attend a college or university in Wisconsin. This grant is eligible for renewal for up to ten semesters, so long as students continue to demonstrate financial need. Â
Wisconsin tuition reciprocity agreements
Wisconsin is a part of the Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC). This organization comes from legislation that made it so 12 midwestern states can work together to provide tuition discounts. Most of these discounts come in the form of providing out-of-state students the opportunity to pay in-state tuition.Â
