West Virginia Promise Scholarship:
The West Virginia Promise Scholarship is a merit based scholarship for West Virginia students. In order to be eligible there are both GPA and SAT/ACT test score requirements. This scholarship can be renewed for up to four years.Â
West Virginia Higher Education Grant Program (HEGP):
The West Virginia Higher Education Grant Program (HEGP) is a need-based grant for West Virginia residents. Participating institutions include public colleges and universities, four year not-for-profit institutions, and West Virginia for-profit institutions.Â
West Virginia tuition reciprocity agreements
Tuition Reciprocity is an exchange program that allows students to attend schools in partner states at a discounted tuition rate. West Virginia is a part of the Southern Regional Education Board Academic Common Market, which allows students going to public institutions to out-of-state schools and pay in-state tuition, if their degree is not offered in their home state.
