State grants in Oklahoma

Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant (OTAG):

The Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant is a need based grant for Oklahoma residents. There are many eligible colleges for this program, including public and private colleges and universities, career technology centers, and tribal colleges. Since grant awards depend on the availability of funds at each institution, the earlier you apply, the better. 

Oklahoma’s Promise Scholarship:

The Oklahoma’s Promise Scholarship is a need based scholarship that requires Oklahoma students to register in eighth, ninth, 10th or 11th grade. The amount awarded depends on the student’s parents’ income in combination with the number of dependents their parents have. 

Oklahoma tuition reciprocity agreements

Oklahoma is a part of the Southern Regional Education Board Academic Common Market. This means that students going to public institutions out-of-state can pay in-state tuition, if their degree is not offered in their home state. These tuition discounts allow students in Oklahoma to attend institutions in the following states, and vice versa:
