Top New Hampshire scholarships
Lakes Region Builders and Remodelers Association Scholarships
Eligibility: New Hampshire students considering a future in one of the following careers, with plans to further his/her education beyond high school: Carpentry, Construction Management, Interior Design, Electrical, Construction Excavation, Plumbing, Architecture, Structural Management, HVAC, Drafting, Landscape Architecture, Landscaping.
Amount: Award amounts are determined by the rating given by the screening committee, based on the need of the applicant and the quality of the application.

League of NH Craftsmen Gerry Williams Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Dunbarton residents graduating from high school are eligible to receive the scholarship. In the event there is no candidate who fits this criterion, the scholarship opportunity shall then be opened to any student graduating from Bow High School. Recipient must be pursuing an education in fine or performing arts and/or craft related studies.

Annalee Thorndike Art Competition
Eligibility: Graduating high school students who are Lakes Region/Belknap County residents, and who will be attending college as art majors, or some related fields such as graphic design.

New Hampshire Governor’s Scholarship Program
Eligibility: New Hampshire high school graduates who enroll full-time and continuously attend a participating postsecondary institution within New Hampshire. Any full-time, Pell Grant-eligible student who earns the New Hampshire Scholar designation and meets the residency and academic requirements may be eligible.
Amount: New Hampshire scholars: $2,000 per year; Non-New Hampshire scholars: $1,000 per year
Deadline: April 15 of each year
New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Four-year or Bachelor’s Degree Program
Eligibility: New Hampshire students with financial need pursuing a 4-year degree
Amount: $250 to $7,500. The average award is $4,600.
Deadline: For students under the age of 24 enrolling in a four-year degree program, apply by April 15, 2022. For students over the age of 24 or students who are younger than 24 and married, have a child, have served in the military, or are emancipated, applications are accepted on open enrollment through December 15, 2022.
New Hampshire Society for Professional Engineers Scholarship Program
Eligibility: High school seniors or college undergraduates who are or will be enrolled in an ABET-EAC accredited engineering program. Applicants must be New Hampshire residents. Preference will be given to students planning on attending a New Hampshire university or college.
Amount: $1,000+
Deadline: April 30, 2022
University of New Hampshire Hamel Scholarship
Eligibility: In-state, first-year University of New Hampshire applicants. Show you are poised to become active, engaged leaders in communities in NH. Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement coupled with notable leadership skills in their school and/or communities. Renewable all 4 years.
Amount: $2,000 – $10,000
Deadline: November 15, 2022
New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Two-year or Associate Degree Program
Eligibility: Applicants should demonstrate reasonable achievement and a commitment to their chosen field of study. Preference is given to students who have previously received funding and successfully completed prior educational work or for students entering high-demand professions, including but not limited to STEM fields
Amount: $100 – $3,500
Deadline: Rolling until December 15, 2022. Applicants will be notified of the results within six weeks after submission.
New Hampshire Food Industries Education Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility: High school seniors and undergraduate college students who are either part-time employees or dependent children of full-time employees at firms that are members of the New Hampshire Grocers Association. See link for employment length requirements.
Amount: $1,000

Craft Education Scholarship
Eligibility: For craft-related study. Applicants must live in New Hampshire or within ten miles of its border to be eligible for the scholarship. Supports programs such as workshops, courses, seminars, or other activities designed for professional craftsperson.

Plan NH Scholarship
Eligibility: Recognizes and honors outstanding students from New Hampshire who are studying a field that supports the mission: to “foster excellence in planning, design and/or development of New Hampshire’s built environment.”
This may include, but is not limited to: Architecture, Art / Fine Arts, Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Historic Preservation, Interior Design, Planning
