The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

Are you a professional craftsperson living in New Hampshire or within ten miles of its border wanting to pursue an educational activity to learn more or improve your skill in your chosen craft? If so, consider applying for the League of NH Craftsmen Craft Education Scholarship! On a rolling basis, the scholarship awards applicants the cost of their chosen educational activity to help support local craftspeople and enhance their skills and creativity. The scholarship committee is interested in supporting intensive educational activities that present creative approaches to learning such as workshops, courses, seminars, or other activities. If you’re a New Hampshire or otherwise local (to NH) craftsperson wanting to pursue further education in your craft, we encourage you to apply! Keep on reading to learn more.

Application information

In addition to submitting the below application materials, interested students should submit proof of New Hampshire residence, materials describing their class and its significance and all related costs, and ten current slides or photos of their work OR a one-page narrative describing their interest in the class and the impact the class will have on their craft-related goals.
