- The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
- There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
- The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
- There is no available contact information

Paul Stark Memorial Scholarship

Minnesota Office of Higher Education Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
- Eligibility: Undergraduates or vocational students enrolled at least half time who show financial need after receiving their financial aid packages. Preference is given to students already receiving Pell Grant. The award is administered by the individual institution, and can be part of the student’s overall aid package
- Amount: Up to $4,000/year
- Deadline: Contact the financial aid office at the college or vocational you are attending. Deadlines vary by school so apply as early as possible.
Minnesota State Workforce Development scholarships
- Eligibility: Minnesota residents enrolled at Minnesota State universities or Minnesota State community/ technical colleges are eligible. Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Health Care Services, Information Technology, Early Childhood Education, or Transportation majors with a GPA of 2.0+ considered
- Amount: $7,500
