He taught for several years before moving to Arizona and starting an amazing career in the road striping industry. By the end of career, he was respected and loved across the country. Along the way he raised and amazing son, John. He retired in 2014 to spend time with his friends and family traveling, connecting, and doing the things he loved. He started a second family and had a beautiful daughter Kia. He passed away too soon in May of 2020. Jay loved kids and was big on education! He helped many young people pursue ambitions by offering to buy sports equipment, pay for lessons and instruction, and for the creation of opportunities. He believed in young people’s potential and was always excited to watch them grow. Creating scholarship opportunities was always a dream of Jays.
