Are you a Minnesota resident of American Indian ancestry or enrolled in a federally-recognized American Indian tribe or Canadian First Nation? Further, are you enrolled at least ¾ time in a postsecondary institution in Minnesota? If so, consider applying for the Minnesota Indian Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards up to $4,000 per year for undergraduate and up to $6,000 per year for graduate students demonstrating financial need. Students may receive up to 10 annual awards (5 awards at undergraduate level + 5 at the graduate level). The scholarship is offered by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, a cabinet-level state agency providing students with financial aid programs and information to help them gain access to postsecondary education.
