There are two types of scholarships offered: the $1,000 Ed Silbernick Memorial Scholarship and the MAPA Scholarships, for which the scholarship amount varies but is generally $750. To qualify for the scholarships, applicants must be rising college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or fifth-year students from Minnesota who are majoring in accounting or planning to practice in the field of public accounting. They must also have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
