The Scholarships360 $10,000 “No Essay” Scholarship is open to all students who want some extra help paying for their education. Whether you are a high school student who hopes to go to college, a graduate student who’s in a master’s program, or an adult learner who wants to return to school, you are eligible for our no essay scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to students who get the most out of Scholarships360 scholarships and content. Even the most successful artists grapple with questions like “am I good enough?” or “will people like this?” If you’re a creative student who has ever struggled with these questions, we encourage you to apply for this scholarship! The "Creativity Takes Courage" scholarship is open to students studying any form of visual and/or performing arts who write an essay on an important piece of art in their lives. The Ethel J. Williams Scholarship Fund supports African American graduating high school seniors from Paterson, New Jersey, who are pursuing higher education and demonstrate financial need, academic commitment, and involvement in their school or community. Ethel J. Williams was an African American Paterson school teacher who believed deeply in the power of education to transform lives. She understood that opportunity begins with access and was committed to helping young people pursue their goals despite financial barriers. Scholarship awards of $1,000, $1,500, and $2,000 are provided to help cover expenses associated with higher education beyond tuition, including books, supplies, transportation, housing, and other essential costs that support student success. Applicants are evaluated based on academic achievement, demonstrated financial need, extracurricular involvement, leadership, and personal character. The Vincent D. Pavese Scholarship was established years ago as a memorial to Vincent D. Pavese, a former President and Chief Professional Officer of United Way of Passaic County. Mr. Pavese held this office until his untimely death in January 1993. The Pavese family established a scholarship to honor the memory of Mr. Pavese and his commitment to community and service. United Way of Passaic County is currently accepting applications for the Vincent D. Pavese Scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded to two Passaic County high school seniors who have exhibited a commitment to community service and who plan to pursue a career in public service such as government, social work, health care, and education. Scholarship applicants must plan to attend an accredited college or university upon graduation from high school. The Piedmont Henry Hospital Volunteers Scholarship Fund is intended for students who are pursuing careers in the health field. This program aims to support and encourage individuals committed to making a positive impact in healthcare. Eligibility: Applicants must either be a member in good standing of the Piedmont Henry Hospital Auxiliary, a family member of such a member, a Teen Volunteer at the hospital, an employee of Piedmont Henry Hospital, or a family member of an employee. The Rose Petals and Apples Scholarship Fund is dedicated to empowering single mothers who aspire to become educators, celebrating the life of a remarkable woman who embodied resilience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to service. Rosella Tellez Madrid was more than a teacher; she was a beacon of hope and strength for her community. Her journey began as a devoted stay-at-home wife and mother, teaching her own three children and instilling in them the values of generosity and community care. She often gave what she could—clothing, school supplies, and love—to those who needed it most. In her mid-thirties, Rosella made the courageous decision to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. She earned her degree from UTEP and began her career at Scotsdale Elementary as a 5th-grade teacher. By the age of 38, facing the challenges of single motherhood, she set her sights even higher, returning to school to pursue a Master’s in Education at NMSU. While pursuing her Master's degree, Rosella faced a devastating diagnosis of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), with a prognosis of only 2-5 years to live. Yet, her determination was unshakable. In May 1999, Rosella achieved her goal, walking across the graduation stage with a cane, a powerful testament to her resilience and drive. Though her career was cut short by illness, Rosella’s impact endures. She spent her remaining years surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of love, learning, and community service that continues to inspire. On the 20th anniversary of her passing, the Rose Petals and Apples Scholarship Fund is launched in Rosella’s memory. This fund honors her life by supporting single mothers who, like her, are pursuing their dreams of becoming educators despite life’s challenges. Through this scholarship, we celebrate Rosella’s indomitable spirit and encourage other single mothers to follow in her footsteps, knowing that their perseverance and dedication can create lasting change for themselves, their families, and their communities. A former El Pasoan and graduate of Hanks High School, Nick Franco was a creative and talented artist and educator who enjoyed painting and graphic arts. Nick received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Painting from Colorado State University. Following his college graduation, Nick was an art educator and spent two years as an artist in residence for the City of Phoenix. He pursued his Master of Fine Arts degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Nick moved to the Dallas area to continue his work as an art educator for Dallas ISD and most recently was a high school graphic design instructor for Irving ISD. Nick passed away from cancer young, but his passion for art and his legacy for growing and supporting creative students of art will carry on through this memorial scholarship. The Nick Franco Memorial Scholarship for the Arts is for graduating seniors of Hanks High School. The Dale Elizabeth Reed Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by Dale's children to honor her twenty-five year career as a teacher in EPISD. Dale spent the majority of her years as an educator teaching third grade at MacArthur Elementary where she was named Teacher of the Year for the 1976-77 school year. She was also an active member of Alpha Delta Kappa teacher's sorority and was honored by them as an outstanding teacher at the Founder's Day luncheon in 1982. The Bryan Crowe Scholarship for Achievement in Tourism & Hospitality was established to honor Bryan Crowe’s impactful contributions to the El Paso community and to support the education of the next generation. Bryan was raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and in close-knit family. He received a degree in Engineering from Michigan State University and in 2004 began his career in tourism and facility and event management in El Paso, Texas, as Director of Operations at Destination El Paso. Bryan served Destination El Paso, the parent of three branded operating divisions: Visit El Paso, El Paso Live and El Paso Water Parks, for a total of 18 years. During his tenure, he was promoted to Senior Assistant General Manager and then Chief Executive Officer. Under Bryan’s leadership, he elevated both the Visit El Paso and El Paso Live divisions to new heights and welcomed a brand-new division along the way. Bryan was integral in increasing event bookings and facility revenues and oversaw more than $60 million in capital improvement projects. He was a champion for hotel growth and multiple downtown hotel development projects all while El Paso consistently led state and national averages in occupancy and demand. Bryan was responsible for bringing shows, concerts and events that proved El Paso was a must on tour stops from all over the country. Shows such as Wicked, Book of Mormon and Disney’s The Lion King wowed audiences at the historic Plaza Theatre, which Bryan also had a hand in when the theatre underwent a full restoration to its original glory. Bryan played a critical role in spurring the Convention Development team to bring in conventions and sporting events such as Conference USA Men’s & Women’s Basketball Championship tournament, United States Bowling Congress – both the Women’s and Open Championships, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association National Meeting, USA CRITS Sun City CRIT race with a five-year commitment and the Society of American Travel Writers’ Annual Convention along with hundreds more, bringing thousands of attendees and spectators to El Paso which boosted hotel occupancy and contributed economic impact for the city. Bryan was a strong advocate for cross-border relationships and helped to cultivate programs with the Visit El Paso Tourism Department. He encouraged partnerships with both economic development and travel/hospitality sectors in Juarez, Chihuahua and Mexico City to increase leisure and business travel to El Paso and the region. Bryan has always prioritized positioning El Paso as a dynamic and welcoming destination. Bryan was active in the community, serving as a volunteer and board member for organizations such as the Amigo Airshow, the El Paso Chamber and the Hospitals of Providence. He established lifelong friendships with El Pasoans and strong working relationships with leaders throughout El Paso and the hospital and tourism industries. Inspired by Bryan’s extraordinary accomplishments and the remarkable impact he made in the El Paso community, Bryan’s friends and former colleagues are pleased to share a scholarship opportunity for students pursuing a career in tourism and hospitality. Annabelle and Travis Johnson first met at Ysleta Elementary School and graduated from Ysleta High School in the 1950’s. They loved their time at YHS! While there, Travis was a standout athlete and team leader in football and track and Annabelle was a top scholar, graduating as Valedictorian of her class. Years later, after they both had pursued higher education, they married and raised a daughter in El Paso. They gave back to their community in myriad ways over many decades. Annabelle and Travis were passionate about art and politics, and they led by example, contributing their time, talent and resources to the causes that meant the most to them. The Annabelle and Travis Johnson Scholarship was established by their daughter, Heather, to honor their legacy and to continue their family’s investment in El Paso by supporting its future through the education of the next generation of contributors. The Annabelle and Travis Johnson Scholarship is for a graduating senior of Ysleta High School who has demonstrated high achievement in athletics and academics. The Ann and Matt Fennell Scholarship was established to honor Ann and Matt’s legacy and to support the education of the next generation. After attending St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Elmira, N.Y. and working as a surgical nurse at Georgetown Hospital in Washington D.C., Ann returned to Elmira to marry Matt and start their life together. In 1977, Ann and Matt moved to El Paso with their 10 children. From Matt opening and managing Westinghouse Electric, and Ann returning to school to renew her nursing certification, the couple was devoted to the community in which they lived. Inspired by Ann’s career in nursing, and the kindness and dedication of nurses who cared for Ann and Matt throughout their lives, the family is pleased to share a scholarship opportunity for students pursuing a career in nursing. The Ann and Matt Fennell Scholarship Fund is for students pursing an education in nursing; Traditional BSN or RN to BSN degree plans at The University of Texas at El Paso or Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing; and who have demonstrated high achievement in academics. The Thomas and Julia Randleel Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by the Kiwanis Club of Horizon City in honor of Thomas and Julia Randleel, the parents of one of its long-time members. CSM Thomas Randleel was a decorated 30-year veteran of the United States Army and a successful businessman who supported many local children’s causes. He had a special heart for the Child Crisis Center. Julia Randleel impressed upon her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren the importance of higher education. She also served in her church in several capacities including outreach to students at UTEP’s Baptist Student Union. She was a regular supporter of the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree. Both Thomas and Julia emphasized the importance of helping others directly or by volunteering with others. This endowed scholarship honors the service of Thomas and Julia to their family and beloved community.
