The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

The GeneTex scholarship awards one student $2,000 biannually for use toward their education or other expenses. The Vectorworks Design Scholarship invites undergraduate and graduate students in major disciplines related to the architecture, landscape architecture, entertainment, and interior design fields to submit their recent, finished designs. In submitting work to the Vectorworks Design Scholarship, designers are given the opportunity to win scholarship prizes that will help them (and their classmates) continue to develop creative designs. Applicants are eligible to earn between $3,000 and $7,000, to be used toward tuition, fees, housing, textbooks, study abroad, conference registration, and other educational purposes, in addition to free Vectorworks design software and virtual or in-person training. The Usrey Family Scholarship awards one scholarship to a student enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate landscape horticulture program or related discipline at a two- or four-year public institution in California. Students in vocational agriculture programs will also be considered. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average overall of 2.25 based on a scale of 4.0, and a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a scale of 4.0 in their major. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to work within the industry (including nursery operation, landscape architecture/design/construction/maintenance, interiorscape, horticultural distribution, or retail garden center) following graduation.
