The McKnight Doctoral Fellowship program is a great program designed to address the underrepresentation of African American and Hispanic faculty at colleges and universities in the state of Florida by increasing the pool of citizens qualified with Ph.D. degrees to teach at the college and university levels. Each year, up to 50 applicants will be granted fellowships worth $17,000 per year in tuition, fees, and stipend. It is expected that this will help expand employment opportunities in the industry for Black and Hispanic doctoral degree holders. Applicants must also be working at an eligible Florida institution (see list below) and be teaching any field in the Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Nursing, or the Visual and Performing Arts. If this sounds like a good fit, we encourage you to apply! Keep on reading to learn more.Show Less

Are you passionate about mathematics and machine learning? If so, you would be a great candidate for the Dan Herbatschek Scholarship! This $2,500 scholarship was established to provide opportunities for students pursuing mathematics and machine learning, with a particular focus on individuals from unconventional and underrepresented backgrounds. Founded by Dan Herbatschek, CEO of Ramsey Theory Group, the program is designed to deliver not only financial support, but also mentorship and hands-on experience through internships with the firm’s machine learning initiatives. The scholarship reflects Herbatschek’s belief that unconventional journeys often produce extraordinary innovators. While many young people are self-taught programmers drawn to artificial intelligence, they frequently lack the mathematical foundation and real-world context needed to advance. This initiative seeks to bridge that gap, equipping recipients with both resources and exposure to the role mathematics plays in shaping innovation.Show Less
