The ECARS Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for students with an Active Technician Class or higher US Amateur Radio license residing in the ARRL Atlantic, Great Lakes, Hudson, New England, and Roanoke Divisions (Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland/D.C., Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia). Applicants must also be studying a STEM field and be enrolled in full-time studies at a two-year trade school or 4-year undergraduate institution. While the ideal age range for applicants is between 17 and 25, older applicants retraining in a changing job market will also be considered. Each year, three (3) applicants will be awarded $2,500 each to help fund their post-secondary studies.
