Fulbright Canada and Carleton University have established dedicated research chairs in support of educational programming and research. This opportunity will allow extraordinary American scholars and top-tier applied researchers to spend one academic year as a visiting research scholar working in a targeted area of academic inquiry. Eligible topics of inquiry include the Arts and Social Sciences, Entrepreneurship and/or Social Innovation, Environmental Science, Society, Policy, and Media. Newcombe Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship applicants must be candidates for Ph.D. degrees in any field of study in the humanities and social sciences at accredited graduate schools in the United States. Candidates are eligible if they have completed all pre-dissertation requirements fulfilled by the application deadline, including approval of the dissertation proposal, and are in the writing stage of their dissertation.
