Lowe’s x Guild Education
Through Guild, Lowe’s offers an array of completely debt-free educational programs to its employees. Lowe’s covers $2,500 per year for tuition, books, and fees.
Employees can take courses from Lowe’s-sponsored universities and learning providers, including HBCUs and HSIs. Associates can earn undergraduate certificates or degrees from these schools in topics pertinent to Lowe’s skillsets and the future job market; supply chain, logistics, data analytics, cybersecurity, and technology are examples of applicable subjects.
Additionally, Lowe’s offers debt-free tuition assistance for language courses, GED completion, and college prep classes.

How to benefit from Lowe’s tuition assistance programs
1. Apply for a job at your local Lowe’s
View available positions by visiting Lowe’s talent portal. There are filters by job title and location that generate a list of openings. Clicking on a role brings up a description of responsibilities, qualifications, and advantages. Check out tailored job notifications and the Lowe’s career chat assistant to help make your search easy. You can apply directly from the job posting!
2. Create a Guild Education account
Once you’ve secured the job, sign up for Lowe’s Guild Education portal. All part-time and full-time associates are eligible to participate. Creating an account allows you to browse and compare different programs. You will also be connected with an education coach. This academic advisor can answer any questions you may have, from time management to financial aid. They are accessible via text, call, video chat, or email throughout your entire school career.
3. Choose a Lowe’s debt-free program or discounted alternative
Lowe’s offers over 50 debt-free programs at various education levels with all fees paid upfront; however, you are not restricted to these select options. This program is also available to all part-time and full-time employees. However, you may want to attend a particular school, study a more Humanities-oriented major, or earn a Master’s degree. The Guild platform houses over 165 additional programs from over 20 different schools to help dreams like these come true.
Lowe’s will help fund undergraduate and Master’s degrees as well as certifications outside of just its sponsored programs. You can receive up to $2,500 in tuition assistance per year for these additional studies after you work for one year as a full-time employee. 4. Start learning!
Starting a new learning journey can be daunting. It should ease your worries knowing these programs are designed with adult learners and those working other jobs in mind.
