How to win scholarships for Muslim students

Scholarships are free money to help you pay for your higher education! This is why it is so important for you to take the time you need to complete your scholarship applications. 

One of the main ways that you can stand out in your scholarship applications is through your essays. Scholarship essays represent an opportunity to tell your story and show the scholarship committee how you will make an impact in the world.

Scholarships for students who practice Islam will be espeically interested in the role of religion in your life. It can be a a good idea to emphasize how Islam has influenced you as a human being. This can include how different Islamic principles have influenced your daily life and other decisions you’ve made. As you begin to draft your essays, you can spend some time reflecting on your relationship with the Islamic faith and what it means to you.

FAFSA guide

On October 1st of every year, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens nationwide. Students should complete the FAFSA to be eligible for federal student aid which includes grants that don’t need to be repaid, as well as federal student loans, and work study.
