Are you a Muslim student interested in filmmaking? If so, consider applying for the Islamic Scholarship Fund Film Grant! The grant is open to Muslim students wanting to make a film project featuring American Muslim characters or American Muslim themes. Since 2014, the Islamic Scholarship Fund has offered the program to support prospective Muslim filmmakers. The Islamic Scholarship Fund offers funding, mentorship, career counseling, and professional experience to increase American Muslim representation. Recipients are awarded up to $15,000 in each category (narrative, special projects, and documentary). They also receive mentorship and networking opportunities from industry professionals to help further the advancement of their script and film. Eligibility information
The grant is open to students who create a film project that is either a narrative feature-length, short film, animation, or documentary with American Muslim characters or American Muslim themes. At least one member of the creative team (producer or director) must be Muslim, and at least 50% of the project must have been filmed in the U.S. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.

Application information
To apply for this scholarship, students must first submit a 1-2 page Letter of Interest. If accepted, students will then be moved to the Appliction stage and asked to submit an online application, a written proposal, a 3-4 minute pitch video, work sample, a script or outline, and the below application materials.
