State grants in Oregon
Oregon Opportunity Grant:
The Oregon Opportunity Grant is a need based grant for any Oregon resident pursuing their first associates or bachelor’s degree at an eligible Oregon postsecondary institution. The grant is eligible for newable for up to 8 semesters or 4 years.
Oregon Promise Grant:
The Oregon Promise Grant gives Oregon residents who recently graduated from high school the opportunity to attend any Oregon community college at a discounted tuition. Students may receive this grant until they have accumulated 90 credits and there is no term or year limit.
Oregon Tribal Student Grant:
If you are a student enrolled in one of the nine federally recognized tribes in Oregon, then you may qualify for the Oregon Tribal Student Grant. Participating Oregon postsecondary institutions include community colleges, public universities, and private non-profit colleges and universities.
Oregon tuition reciprocity agreements
Tuition Reciprocity allows students to receive tuition discounts by going to school in partner states, typically states in the same region of the country. Oregon is included in the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE).
