Are you an incoming or current postsecondary student of Hispanic/Latino heritage who will be pursuing a STEM degree? If so, you may be eligible for some of the many SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) Scholarships! There are a variety of scholarships available, offering between $2,000 and $10,000 to winning applicants. To be eligible, individuals must be high school seniors, undergraduates, or graduate students who are active members of SPHE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers). Applicants must also have a minimum 2.5 GPA and plan to pursue a STEM degree.

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, an organization with a mission to “empower the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development.”
The SHPE Scholarships are open to Hispanic students pursuing a postsecondary degree at any level. This includes graduating high school seniors who will be pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, graduate students, and even experienced professionals pursuing further training or technical certificates. Below are just some of the eligibility requirements for the various SPHE scholarships. However, bear in mind that (1) students do not necessarily need to meet every eligibility factor below to be eligible and (2) individual scholarships may have additional, unique eligibility requirements.
