The Nick & Helena Patti Foundation Scholarship annually awards up to $6,500 to multiple college sophomores and upperclassmen of Italian heritage who reside in Illinois. Preference will be given to those who (a) are pursuing a degree in music or education or (b) were orphaned or raised in a foster home. The Italian regions of Abruzzo and Molise have a rich cultural, social, and educational heritage. To promote the study of these unique regions and Italy as a whole, the Abruzzo and Molise Heritage Society (AMHS) is offering a $4,000 scholarship for members and relatives of the AHMS.  Two awards are offered to high school seniors and college students with at least a 3.5 GPA who are interested in Italian studies. Applicants must be from the Washington D.C. area or within a 50-mile radius, including Maryland and Virginia.
