Arizona State University merit scholarships

Arizona State offers a number of merit scholarships for prospective students. ASU has a Freshman Merit Scholarship Estimator to help you find out if you qualify for the scholarship. This type of transparency is great and will help you see how much scholarship money you can expect to receive from the University.

If the Scholarship Estimator is not working, students can reach out to the admissions office to get an estimate of scholarships.

Remember, these scholarship estimates are not 100% official and students will have to wait until they are accepted before receiving their official financial aid award letter.

ASU financial aid

In addition to the above merit scholarships, Arizona State offers need-based financial aid to prospective students, including the Barack Obama Scholars Program.

Students can also qualify for need-based grants (such as the Pell Grant), federal student loans, and work study.

To qualify for all need-based financial aid at ASU, students will need to complete and submit the FAFSA.

Arizona State Financial Aid Codes

To apply for financial aid through the FAFSA at Arizona State, students should use the code 001081.
