The Stokes Scholarship Programs are funded by the Central Intelligence Agency, a U.S. government agency that provides objective intelligence on foreign countries and global issues to the president, the National Security Council, and other policymakers to help them make national security decisions. Every year, their Stokes Scholarship Program awards up to $25,000 to multiple postsecondary students who (1) can commit to working at the CIA for a period of 1.5 years for each year they receive the scholarship and (2) are willing to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) for a minimum of 12 weeks each summer in the WMA until graduation and onboard as an officer. The Lonsdale Magaro Build Scholarship is an incredibly generous scholarship offered to the most academically impressive and promising students enrolling at the University of Austin. Each year, the scholarship awards $25,000 per academic year to incoming University of Austin students with top standardized test scores. To qualify, applicants must have a minimum 1500 SAT score, a minimum 34 ACT score, or a minimum 108 CLT score. Applicants should also, ideally, be strong in STEM, solve real-world problems, and want to "make a big impact on America's future." In addition to the monetary reward, selected recipients will receive personal mentorship from esteemed entrepreneurs and investors, including Joe Lonsdale and Alex Magaro. Every year, Siena College automatically grants incoming freshmen an academic merit scholarship upon admission to the college. Among these is the most prestigious of them all, the Presidential Scholarship, which offers between $25,000 and $27,000 to students with a solid academic record (3.5+ GPA) and a long history of involvement in their community or school. Those with higher GPAs will be eligible for higher scholarship amounts. Students with a high school GPA between 3.5 and 3.6, between 3.7 and 3.9, and at 4.0 or above, will receive $25,000, $26,000, and $27,000, respectively. While standardized test scores are optional, those who choose to submit must have an SAT score above 1160 or an ACT score above 25 to qualify for the Presidential Scholarship. The Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship for Public Service is a two-year leadership development and scholarship program. Through a transformational combination of barrier-reducing financial aid, an immersive work-travel experience, and a robust network of leaders and mentors, the Voyager Scholarship is designed to inspire, empower, and connect the next generation of leaders and equip them with the tools and resources they need to launch their careers in public service. The program identifies students in their second year of undergraduate studies who will be starting their third year in the Fall. Over the course of two years, programming will facilitate opportunities for students to refine their values-based leadership approach, build bridges across communities, and nurture their sense of curiosity as they deepen their commitment to pursuing public service careers.
