The Winston Foodservice Equipment Grant program will award equipment to one school district in need of improving its school meal kitchen facilities through a competitive grant process. Applicants must be current director-level members of the School Nutrition Association, who have been members of SNA for at least one year (since at least January 1 of last year) and are responsible for directing the school nutrition program of the school district. Applications must represent the entire school district's equipment needs. Applications will be reviewed for demonstrated need, plans to integrate new equipment, and the impact of new equipment on the school nutrition program. The International Research Scientist Development Award (IRSDA) provides financial support to advanced postdoctoral U.S. research scientists and recently appointed U.S. junior faculty for an intensive, mentored 3-5-year-long research career development experience in an eligible LMIC (low or middle-income country).
