The Digital Privacy Scholarship focuses on an issue that has been in the media a lot lately: privacy on the Internet. According to a CareerBuilder survey, “forty-three percent of employers who checked on social media have decided not to hire someone.” The aim of this scholarship is for students to “understand why they should be cautious about what they post on the Internet.”
The winner of the Digital Privacy Scholarship will receive a $1,500 scholarship and the runner-up will receive $500.
Who can apply for this scholarship?
Almost any student is able to apply for this scholarship! High school students, college students, and graduate students are all eligible. The only eligibility requirement is that students must be U.S. citizens.
How do I apply for the Digital Privacy Scholarship?
