Colleges that Change Lives (CTCL) is non-profit that is “dedicated to the advancement and support of a student-centered college search process.” Each year, CTCL also offers the Colleges that Change Lives Scholarship each year. This scholarship was established in 2016 to honor the 20th anniversary of the publication of Loren Pope’s book on the college search process.
Who is eligible for the Colleges that Change Lives Scholarship?
Rising first-year students, including international students and undocumented students, are eligible to apply for the scholarship. In order to receive the scholarship award, students must attend a CTCL-member college or university.
How much is the Colleges the Colleges that Change Lives Scholarship worth?
The CTCL Scholarship is worth $1,000 per year and is renewable for up to four years (so in total, it could be worth $4,000!).
When is the application for the Colleges that Change Lives Scholarship due?
Applicants must apply online by March 23,2018, and awardees will be notified of their selection by email on April 19, 2018.
