When Is the 2024-2025 CSS Profile Deadline?

The CSS Profile, also known as the College Scholarship Service Profile, is a financial aid application that was created by the College Board. Many colleges use the CSS Profile to apply for non-federal financial aid. Along with the FAFSA, the CSS Profile is one of the most important parts of paying for college.

One of the most common questions about the CSS Profile is “when should I submit the CSS Profile?” Keep on reading to learn about the CSS Profile deadlines, as well as when the application opens up!

2024-2025 CSS Profile deadline

The CSS Profile deadline is different for every college. This is because the CSS Profile deadline is typically pegged to the college application deadline. The College Board recommends that students submit their CSS Profile no later than two weeks before your earliest application deadline (assuming you are applying to multiple colleges with varying deadlines).

CSS Profile deadline for early decision

Remember, if you are applying to any colleges with rolling or early deadlines (such as Early Decision or Early Action), you will also need to submit your CSS Profile earlier.

When does the CSS Profile open?

The CSS Profile opens up on October 1st of every year and you can access the CSS Profile application here.
