What exactly is Transferology?
Transferology is a website that helps students explore the available options in regard to transferring college credits. The platform answers students questions about transfer credit questions in one convenient place. Students learn whether or not their courses will transfer. Transferology also helps students find courses they can take to replace a course at their college.

How do you use Transferology?
To begin using Transferology, students will have to create an account and sign in for free. Then, students will have two options to choose from – either determine whether your courses will transfer to other schools or find replacement courses.
Will my courses transfer?
Wondering about whether your courses will transfer to other schools? Then you should click on the “will my courses transfer” path. From there, you should add your school and all of the courses you have taken in that school. This is also the point where you can add any exams or military credits you might have.
Next, click on the “search for matches” button to view your results. You should then be presented with a list of colleges that will accept your transfer credits as well as how many credits they will accept. In addition, you will be able to request information from each school. You will ten be put in contact with a school representative who will answer any questions you have.
Find a replacement course
With Transferology, you can also search for courses that other schools offer that will replace a course you need at your institution. To begin, you should select “find a replacement course.” Next, add the school you currently attend and the courses you want to replace at a different school. Then, you will have to select what type of requirement this course will be fulfilling, such as a Gen Ed. Finally, select “search for matches.” That allows you to view the available courses at different schools that could replace the course(s) you need to take.
