The Underrepresented Minority Gateway to Research Awards annually grants $5,000 to multiple underrepresented minority pharmacy students currently enrolled in an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy. To be considered, students must be nominated and mentored by a faculty member who is employed by either an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy OR any college awarding baccalaureate degrees, provided the faculty member is actively undertaking research in the pharmaceutical sciences.

The American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education is an organization that advances and supports pharmaceutical sciences education at U.S. schools and colleges of pharmacy by awarding fellowships and grants, recognizing and supporting talented students and faculty, and encouraging exceptional students to pursue advanced degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
