The scholarship is funded by Tocris, a trusted and innovative life science reagents supplier. Each application cycle, Tocris awards $1,500 to one lucky applicant who writes the best 500-word essays on the impact they strive to make in their field and why they chose their field. The scholarship is biannual, with deadlines in July and December of each year.
