The Fellowship of Graduate Student Travel (FGST) provides student funds for travel and other expenses at distant research laboratories, museums, or field sites. The primary purpose is for travel to “distant” research sites to conduct field work, learn specialized techniques or to use unique equipment or collections. The competition is open to student members of all SICB divisions. Previous recipients of any SICB award (GIAR or FGST) are not eligible. Non-members must become members for the current grant year to be eligible to receive awards. Please visit the scholarship’s website for more information.
