The NC Hispanic College Fund scholarships are awarded to recent Hispanic/Latino graduates of North Carolina high schools. Applicants must also be planning to enroll or be enrolled in a degree or certificate program at a community college or two- or four-year university and be committed to public service and community development. Preference will be given to foreign-born applicants or the native-born children of foreign-born parents, but it is not a requirement to apply. Recipients will be chosen based on family economic need, community involvement, academic achievement, volunteerism, and leadership.

The North Carolina Society of Hispanic Professionals is a professional membership group, made of individuals who are united by a common desire, to see Hispanic students succeed in the classroom so they can succeed in life. Since 1999, the NCSHP has existed to promote the education of Hispanic students at all scholastic levels. Through our educational programs and initiatives, we work to lower the dropout rate of Hispanic students in North Carolina and provide them with access to higher education.
