The AIChE Minority Scholarship Award is open to high school graduates who will be starting college during the current academic year and are members of a minority group that is under-represented in chemical engineering. Eligible under-represented groups include African-American, Hispanic, Native American, Alaskan Native, and Pacific Islanders. Applicants must plan to enroll during the current academic year in a four-year college or university offering a science/engineering degree, and are encouraged to choose classes leading to a degree in chemical engineering.
