Are you an Idaho resident who will be enrolling as a full-time student at the freshman level (first year) at an in-state, four-year college or university to major in a math- or science-related field? If so, you may be eligible for the Mike Crapo Math and Science Scholarship Fund! Each year, the scholarship will award $1,200 to five eligible students. All applicants, with the exception of non-traditional students who have not been enrolled in a higher education institution for a period of three years, must hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. To be considered, interested students must submit a transcript, as well as a 1-3 page written statement describing their career goals, as well as their past extra-curricular activities and work experiences. The Idaho Community Foundation is a community foundation that works to provide a way for people of all income levels to make a lasting difference in Idaho. The Foundation serves all 44 Idaho counties and helps build and strengthen communities by bringing people together and using the power of collective giving. Individuals, families, businesses, and other nonprofits can establish permanent or temporary charitable funds at the Idaho Community Foundation to provide support for the causes and organizations they care about most. The Idaho Community Foundation also offers grants to nonprofits, schools, and other organizations and provides scholarships to students.
