The Gwendolyn S. Cruzat MLA Scholarship, named in honor of a “global leader in the library profession at large,” recognizes outstanding master’s students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and potential for success in health sciences librarianship.
To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in an ALA-accredited graduate library school or have completed no more than half of the academic requirements of their program by March. Then, to apply, they must submit a transcript as well as a copy of their library school’s catalog or web page, which states the number of credits needed for a degree.

The Medical Library Association (MLA) is a global, nonprofit educational organization, with a membership of more than 400 institutions and 3,000 professionals in the health information field.
