Each year, their John Kitt Memorial Scholarship awards $2,500 to a college sophomore, junior, or senior with an interest in confectionery technology. Applicants must be attending an accredited four-year university, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be majoring in a food science, chemical science, biological science, or related field. They must also demonstrate interest in confectionery technology via research projects, work experience, formal study, and/or more.
