If so, you may be eligible for the Interstellar Research Group Master’s Graduate College Scholarship Program! Each year, the scholarship awards $2,500 to one master’s graduate student pursuing a degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)-related fields, ecology, social sciences, environmental, business, health, law, agriculture, food sciences, computer science, education, construction, or any other field that can advance interstellar space travel missions. To apply, interested students must submit a ~2,500-word essay on topics related to interstellar travel missions and their application to achieving interstellar missions. The Interstellar Research Group's purpose is to facilitate interstellar research and exploration by hosting regular summit meetings, encouraging educational advances, publishing technical and scientific papers, and supporting literature and culture, all in the service of enhancing public understanding and dialogue toward interstellar exploration. IRG will assist in building a technological, philosophical, and economic infrastructure that advances the goal of establishing outposts throughout the Solar System and, finally, achieving a pathway to the stars.
