Are you an Idaho resident of Hispanic/Latino descent who is currently enrolled full-time in a postsecondary institution? If so, you may be eligible for the Idaho HBA Richard G. Cortez Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship is awarded to multiple such students who submit a completed application form, two letters of recommendation, a recent transcript, a list of extracurricular activities and work history in a resume format, essay question responses, and a personal statement. The Hispanic Business Association (HBA) is an all-volunteer, non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to contributing to their communities by providing opportunities to Hispanic youth through education and mentoring. They envision an educated and successful Hispanic community by reducing financial obstacles that prevent high-achieving Hispanic students from furthering their education and fulfilling for their potential success. They believe that "everyone benefits when we invest in generations of leaders that represents the diverse society in which we live."
