Are you passionate about equity in medical education and health care? If so, the Herbert W. Nickens Medical Student Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! This $5,000 scholarship is open to med school students entering their third year of medical school and is offered to five students per year. This scholarship is focused on supporting students who have shown leadership in the areas of medical inequities, specifically when thinking about the needs of racial and ethnic minorities. This scholarship is offered by the Association of American Medical College, a nonprofit that is probably best known for administering the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). If you are passionate about solving medical inequity and want some help funding your med school education, we encourage you to apply!
