Are you a college-bound, high school senior passionate about helping your community? If so, consider applying for the Greenhouse Scholars Program! The program is open to Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, and North Carolina residents planning to attend a four-year university and who are passionate about helping their community. Applicants must also hold a minimum 3.5 GPA. To apply, interested students must submit a survey and a short response between September and the mid-November deadline. From there, select students will be invited to apply to Round 2 (Academic Information & Essay Responses), Round 3 (Video Responses), and Round 4 (Finalist Interviews) of the application process. Recipients can earn up to $5,000 to help pay for their educational expenses. If this sounds like a good opportunity for you, we encourage you to apply!
Greenhouse Scholars is a non-profit organization that seeks to empower young students by providing "personal, professional, and financial resources they need to create lasting change in their own lives and the lives of others, regardless of circumstances." By funding young students' educations, they hope to cultivate leaders and make a difference in communities across the nation.
In addition to meeting the below eligibility criteria, applicants must have an annual household income no greater than $70,000 and a strong interest in helping their community.
