The Governors’ Scholarship for Foster Youth Program is open to those who have been placed in Foster Care, Guardianship or Dependency Guardianship by a Washington state court order. Applicants can also qualify if they have been placed in federally-recognized care as an unaccompanied minor and have legal permanent residency in the United States, or if they have been placed under a dependency tribal court order outside of their home. Applicants must be planning to attend a post-secondary university in Washington state. If you’ve been placed in Foster or federally-recognized care in Washington, don’t miss out on this opportunity to further your education!
