The Gordon W. and Agnes P. Cobb Scholarship, established in 1996 through a bequest left by Agnes P. Cobb Yoakum, supports students from Blount, Loudon, or Knox County (Tennessee) who are pursuing a medical-related degree. Each year, multiple recipients will be chosen to receive the $10,000/year scholarship, which can be renewed for up to four years of their undergraduate career. While it is not a requirement to be eligible, applicants from single-parent families will be given special consideration.
If you’re a current or incoming college student who graduated/will graduate from a high school in Blount, Loudon, or Knox County (Tennessee), and are or will be pursuing a medical-related degree in college, we encourage you to apply! Keep on reading to learn more.
