Are you a current student veteran or on Active Duty and are currently studying computer science (or a related field) at a postsecondary U.S. institution? If so, thank you for your service! However, we’re not the only ones who want to thank you – Google does too. Each year, Google partners with the Student Veterans of America (SVA) to award $10,000 to eight lucky student veterans studying computer science-related fields. All that’s needed to apply to the Google Student Veterans of America (SVA) Scholarship is three (3) 500-word essays, a CV and/or resume, two letters of recommendation, and a few other simple application materials. If you’re a veteran passionate about computer science and are looking for some help to pay for college, we encourage you to apply!
In order to be eligible for this scholarship you must be a current student veteran (includes members of the National Guard or Reserve) or a student on Active Duty in addition to meeting the below eligibility requirements.
