Are you a member of ASM International or a Material Advantage student member with an intended or declared major in metallurgy or materials science engineering? Further, have you finished at least one year of college? If so, the George A. Roberts Scholarships may be a good opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards up to $6,000 to seven (7) ASM or Material Advantage student members who are beyond their first year of college and pursuing studies in metallurgy or materials science engineering. This scholarship was established in 1995 through a generous contribution by Dr. George A. Roberts, past president of ASM and retired CEO of Teledyne, as an expression of his commitment to education and the materials science and engineering community. To apply, interested students must submit a personal statement, transcript, and two letters of recommendation.
