The Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Advanced (Defense) Science and Technology (DST) is an exciting opportunity for Ph.D. and terminal degree holders from the U.S. to work in Australia. This program focuses on priority areas of research for DST Group, aiming to foster ongoing collaborative partnerships between Australia and the U.S. in emerging fields of science and technology. Scholars will be appointed to the Australian Defense Science and Technology Group (DST) or a related research institution, where they will work on a specific research project for 5-6 months. Additionally, scholars will be expected to engage with faculty and students through guest lectures and seminars. While all relevant research proposals are welcome, a preference will be given to Quantum Technologies, Cyber, Human Performance, Autonomous systems, Material sciences, Space capabilities, Surveillance, Medical counter-measures, and Sensors and hypersonics.
